Backpack Blitz: Onward Donates 150 Backpacks to Local School
At Onward Injury Law, we believe that investing in our community is as important as the work we do. That’s why we’re thrilled to share the success of our recent initiative, the Backpack Blitz, which brought a wave of excitement and relief to families at Bent Elementary School in Bloomington, IL.
What is the Backpack Blitz?
Our Backpack Blitz program is all about easing the financial burden of back-to-school shopping for local families. This year, we partnered with Bent Elementary School to provide 150 students with brand-new backpacks filled with essential school supplies. Each backpack included everything a student might need, from notebooks and pencils to crayons and folders, ensuring that these young learners start the school year equipped and confident.
Why We Started the Backpack Blitz
At Onward Injury Law, our commitment to the community extends beyond legal representation. We started the Backpack Blitz because we recognize that education is a powerful tool for change, and we want to support our local students in every way possible. Many families face financial challenges, especially during the back-to-school season, and our goal was to ease that burden. By providing these backpacks, we hope to contribute to a more equitable start to the school year, where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Looking to the Future
The response to our Backpack Blitz has been overwhelmingly positive. We hope to provide even more students with the tools they need to succeed and to continue fostering a strong sense of community and support.
As we look to the future, we’re excited to grow the Backpack Blitz and explore new ways to support our community. We’re already planning for next year’s initiative and hope to reach even more students across Central Illinois.
