Case Snapshot: Pedestrian Collision Settlement for Policy Limits of $250,000

Today I have the pleasure of paying one of my favorite clients. As she crossed the street on foot to go to the post office, another driver hit her, knocking her to the pavement and causing head trauma. The driver then fled the scene.

Due to excellent work by local police and the Dewitt County State’s Attorney’s office, we had strong evidence to use for our client, and we were able to recover the full $250,000 policy limits of all available insurance policies.

Before our firm was hired involved, the offer to settle the case was only $53,000. I know we made a difference and I’m proud of our team’s work for this wonderful lady.
